Prosen | Collector's Lunch & Artist Talk

 

To celebrate Oran Wishart’s solo exhibition PROSEN, we invited collectors along with artists to join us for a talk by Wishart and a celebratory lunch at 11 Caledonian Road. 

The lunch was courtesy of Paulo Garcia, who is usually found behind the stoves at St. John. Offering his own take on PROSEN, he curated a menu that had a deep respect for place and origin, serving seasonal ingredients that connected to Glen Prosen - the namesake of the show.

Prosen | A solo exhibition by Oran Wishart

 

Broth Art is pleased to present 'Prosen' a solo show of work by Scottish artist Oran Wishart. Bringing together painting, mixed media and sculpture, it explores the interplay between place, memory and language, revealing how these elements co-create meaning and experience. Named after Glen Prosen, a remote glen on the southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland where Wishart grew up, 'Prosen' is a deeply personal body of work that explores both the visible and invisible forces that shape our sense of self.

Patricia Paolozzi Cain | RSA Annual Exhibition 2025

 

Patricia Paolozzi Cain is an exhibiting artist at this year's Royal Scottish Academy's annual exhibition. The selected work 'Fälthelden (Spirit-field)' is a mixed-media artwork on paper, made with coloured pencil, acrylic and collage and measuring 120 cm x 140 cm. It is from a body of work called 'Opposition and Fellowship' that explores the reconciliation of opposites, taking inspiration from ancient Chinese philosophy.
