Laura McMorrow is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Ireland who I have had the pleasure of working with since 2020. Aside from her own individual practice, McMorrow works collaboratively with ^ - a collective of five artists who jointly engage in questions about land and ecology. Over the past three years, they have led events in response to environmental grief, care and tending to the land. 

This June, we caught up with Laura McMorrow a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Leitrim, Ireland. Working across painting, collage, film and sculpture, Laura makes work that draws on nature. She has a Masters in Fine Art from the University of Ulster in Belfast, and in 2017 was awarded the Burren College of Art 'Emerging Irish Residency Award.'
