"As a painter, I collect images from old encyclopedias, online library archives, and postcards. These images are used as starting points for landscape compositions; they trigger memories of places I may have been. Through the process of painting, elements are added and erased to create an otherworldly environment. The work is of nowhere specific but it is a reflection of time spent in nature." - Laura McMorrow, 2020
