Kathleen Cottell (b. 1956) lives in Cornwall, UK. In 2003, she gained a BA in Fine Art from Falmouth School of Art. Working across printmaking and ceramics, she records vistas, visions, relationships and stories with the hope to better understand them. 

"The works I am submitting for 'Heron' reflect on the increasing level of birdsong heralding early spring and the quiet observance of birds and other animals. In this time of increasing uncertainty and conflict, it feels important to cherish these moments of nature."
